Adams’ promotion marks the first time that a human resources professional has held a C-suite position at Boulder Heavy Industries. In her new role, Adams will report to Adam Edelman, Chairman, and will oversee various finance and accounting functions, while continuing to manage all tasks related to talent development, change initiatives, IT and administrative support.

Adams has more than 25 years of experience helping companies manage the people aspect of business, with more than 15 of those years in advertising agencies. During the last two and a half years with Boulder Heavy Industries, she has focused on developing and implementing LEAD, an award-winning management training program. Currently, Adams’ team is working on applying a holistic approach to employee engagement; elevating what can be a buzzword to a thoughtful program focused on all aspects of employee growth within both Boulder Heavy Industries’ mature portfolio companies and start-ups.
