Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles Welcomes New Board Chair Bo Pearl

Honors Outgoing Board Chair Suzanne Kolb, Welcomes Two New Board Members

LOS ANGELES--()--Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles’ Board of Directors has elected Bo Pearl of O’Melveny & Myers LLP as Board Chair. Mr. Pearl is a long-time supporter of nonprofit organizations and has served for four years as Board Director for Make-A-Wish Greater LA, which grants life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

“Bo has been a passionate advocate for Make-A-Wish and is the focused, visionary leader we need to drive expansion of our LA chapter’s reach. We are thrilled to have him at the helm of our board,” said Neal Aton, President and CEO, Make-A-Wish Greater LA. “Bo’s leadership and dedication to our mission will be invaluable as we together strive to reach every eligible child in LA County.”

Mr. Pearl takes the reins from Suzanne Kolb, who has dedicated five years of service to Make-A-Wish Greater LA, the most recent two as Board Chair. A globally recognized entertainment industry executive, Ms. Kolb will continue to serve as an active member of the LA board.

A Georgetown Law educated litigator, Mr. Pearl brings a wealth of experience as Managing Partner of O’Melveny & Myers’ LLP Century City. His deep relationships in entertainment, sports and technology will be critical in expanding Make-A-Wish Greater LA’s local partnerships and network with key industry leaders. Bo is a tireless fundraiser for Make-A-Wish, and has chaired the organization’s Walk for Wishes event, which nets over $200,000 for the nonprofit annually.

“Make-A-Wish changes the lives of kids with life-threatening illnesses. It has helped my family directly,” said Mr. Pearl. “I hope to help the organization grant as many wishes as possible. I am humbled to help a great cause.”

As Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles finalizes plans for its November 9th Wish Gala, the chapter welcomes two new board members - Corey Breton, EVP, Sales, Los Angeles Football Club and Carlos Rosales, Regional Banking District Manager, Wells Fargo.
