OncLive® Expands Strategic Alliance Partnership Program With the National Community Oncology Dispensing Association

The collaboration aims to spread awareness of the growing need for dispensing cancer clinics

CRANBURY, N.J.--()--OncLive®, a leading digital provider of resources and information to oncology professionals, has teamed up with the National Community Oncology Dispensing Association (NCODA) through its Strategic Alliance Partnership (SAP) program.

“Teaming up with the National Community Oncology Dispensing Association gives us an opportunity to help shed light on the growing need for dispensing cancer clinics across the nation. Together, our goal is to optimize patient outcomes,” said Michael J. Hennessy, Jr, president of Michael J. Hennessy Associates, Inc., parent company of OncLive®.

The SAP program is designed to facilitate an open exchange of information among trusted peers, with the goal of improving patient care. Because of this joint effort, NCODA will be able to share valuable content through OncLive® websites as well as through sister publications, Oncology Business Management™ and the American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®), where visitors will have unprecedented access to research developments, articles and interviews that can help oncologists better serve their patients.

Michael Reff, Executive Director and Founder of NCODA added, “NCODA is pleased to partner with OncLive® as we grow, providing a valuable resource to our members via their industry resources. We share a vision to support best care practices across the industry to serve oncology patients and look forward to finding interesting and helpful ways to grow together.”

Based in East Syracuse, New York, NCODA was founded to strengthen community oncology practices with dispensing services and to improve pharmacy operations in order to deliver quality and sustainable value to all stakeholders involved in the care of cancer patients receiving oral therapy. With a growing membership of more than 130 community oncology clinics, NCODA brings value to practices nationally through adoption of quality standards, sharing of best practices and improving financial viability.
