CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP (Baker Tilly) has named Jeff Jorge, principal, to lead the firm’s international services practice and expand the firm’s growing presence and reputation as a leading provider of professional services for global organizations.

Jorge has previously served as Baker Tilly’s international growth services practice and Latin America-U.S. services desk leader. He joined Baker Tilly in June 2015 through a successful merger with Global Development Partners, a firm he founded, bringing additional and extensive global operations experience to the firm’s international services offerings.

He leads Baker Tilly’s Center for the Return of Manufacturing, a resource that helps middle market manufacturing companies initiate or return operations to the United States and assists them in unlocking export and global growth opportunities.
Jorge is actively engaged with many regional, national and international organizations. He serves as vice chairman of Automation Alley’s International Business Services Advisory Council, and is a frequent keynote speaker at numerous domestic and international conferences on matters related to global trade and foreign policy.
