American Association for Justice Honors Thomas Fortune Fay and Caragh Glenn Fay of Fay Law Group with David S. Shrager President’s Award

Award Recognizes Plaintiff Attorneys Who Have Made Outstanding Contributions to AAJ and its Mission of Preserving and Enhancing the Civil Justice System

WASHINGTON--()--Thomas Fortune Fay and Caragh Fay of the Fay Law Group, PA will receive the David S. Shrager President’s Award from the American Association for Justice (AAJ) in recognition of their perseverance in pursuing justice for victims of foreign state sponsored terrorism. The award was presented by AAJ President-Elect Kathleen Nastri on July 23 at the Association’s annual convention in Boston.

The David S. Shrager President’s Award is among the highest honors given by the Association and recognizes members who have demonstrated former AAJ President David Shrager’s (1983-84) passion for the law and trial bar, and who have made an outstanding contribution to civil justice and to the work of AAJ.

“To be recognized by AAJ is an honor in its own right. To share that recognition with Caragh is a career-topping distinction. In the end, the most fulfilling part of receiving the David S. Shrager President’s Award is knowing we helped many deserving clients obtain justice. From those injured in automobile accidents to patients who suffered the ramifications of medical malpractice to thousands of American victims of state sponsored terrorism, Caragh and I are proud to be part of the best legal and judicial system in the world that enables the would be powerless to stand up against the most powerful interests,” Mr. Fay said.

“I’ve learned from one of the best that a good attorney is an effective attorney, and an effective attorney is committed to out-research, out write, out think, out argue, and to build more passion for clients than the opposing side. We deeply appreciate the honor AAJ has bestowed on us, and we will continue to uphold the standards of excellence it represents,” Ms. Fay commented.
