OT-Morpho signs up 5 million US travelers for TSA PreCheck®

Program continues to grow with heavy summer travel expected.

BILLERICA, Mass.--()--MorphoTrust USA, part of OT-Morpho, a world leader in digital security and identification technologies, announced today that it achieved a milestone with its TSA PreCheck® Application Program services by enrolling five million customers. After receiving approval from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), this trusted traveler program allows U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals and Lawful Permanent Residents (LPR) to quickly move through security at U.S. airports in expedited lines without removing shoes, laptops, liquids, belts and light jackets. Ideal for domestic travel and frequent flyers who travel three or more times a year, this enrollment service is run exclusively by IdentoGO, a service made by MorphoTrust.

The five million enrollees speak to the size and success of the program. It has allowed an impactful relief to wait times in security lines at U.S. airports while at the same time maintaining a high level of security. Trusted travelers enrolled in the TSA PreCheck® Application Program have a more convenient travel experience overall at airports with less stress and hassle.

In May 2016, MorphoTrust ramped up efforts to meet the growing demand for enrollment in TSA PreCheck® to make it easier and more convenient for travelers to enroll. In addition to organizing a successful summer pop-up enrollment tour last July and August, MorphoTrust also expanded customer convenience in the past year:

  • Enrolled more than three million more travelers in TSA PreCheck®, from two to five million;
  • Launched a mobile enrollment RV tour with two RVs now on the road enrolling people at business parks, universities, and music festivals;
  • Introduced a Groupon package that includes a voucher for TSA PreCheck® Application Program enrollment as well as $150 worth of hotel discounts; and,
  • Re-vamped the TSA PreCheck® advertising campaign with a focus on Millennials.
