Nehemiah Security Ranked 24th Best Small Business to Work at by Washington Business Journal

Positive Culture Earns Growing Cybersecurity Company a Top Spot on 2017 List

TYSONS, Va.--()--Nehemiah Security, an internationally recognized supplier of cybersecurity software and services to enterprise and government organizations, today announced it has been ranked 24th on the Washington Business Journal’s official list of 2017 Best Places to Work. Nehemiah was named to the list on May 5, 2017, and was honored with its ranking among the region’s best places to work at a special event on June 22, 2017 at Arena Stage’s Mead Center for American Theater.

“We are thrilled to be recognized by the Washington Business Journal as one of the best places to work in Greater Washington,” said Paul Farrell, CEO of Nehemiah Security. “This is an honor that stands as a true testament to the culture of community we are building at Nehemiah. As we grow and recruit new talent, our success will always be driven by the energy and dedication of all members of our team.”

Every year, the Washington Business Journal names the area’s Best Places to Work based on the results of an anonymous employee engagement survey that evaluates many characteristics of a company, including team and manager effectiveness, retention, feeling valued, and trust between senior leaders and co-workers. Nehemiah’s leadership fosters an atmosphere for employees that makes the company more than just a place to work. Rather, they strive to build and maintain a culture that is strengthened through practices such as ending monthly meetings by sharing personal photos and a contest that help each person learn more about their fellow teammates.

Nehemiah Security was founded in 2015, and has since demonstrated significant growth and innovation, including the acquisition of three companies. The acquisitions of Triumfant and its AtomicEye solution, quickly followed by Siege Technologies, have been successfully integrated into the company’s advanced product portfolio to quantify and solve the massive, unstructured problem of beating cybercriminals. The rapidly expanding company will be making its first appearance at the 2017 Black Hat Conference in Las Vegas next month, and will be offering demos of their solution at Booth IC-1 in Innovation City on the second floor of the Mandalay Bay Expo Center on July 26-27, 2017.
