Grace Nogueira Joins LTCG as Senior Vice President of Claims

Grace’s broad industry experience and expertise make her an ideal fit to lead the organization’s new claims initiatives

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.--()--LTCG, the recognized leader in business processing outsourcing for long term care insurance, has just announced that Grace Nogueira will join its executive team as Senior Vice President of Claims, with a focus on process re-engineering and system development. Grace is nationally known and highly regarded thanks to her deep clinical background coupled with a unique understanding of LTC claims management. This expertise was garnered through years of leadership roles within industry giants CNA and John Hancock. She has significant experience in building a claims function from the ground up, redesigning claims processes to improve outcomes and managing new technology initiatives to optimize claims management.

LTCG designed this SVP role to provide ownership for the build-out of the claims and care management portion of its enhanced administration system and to bring in an outside perspective on the evolving world of claims management. The eLTCAS platform is designed to increase LTCG’s claims processing capabilities and improve the customer experience. It will also provide for greater claims analytics, giving LTCG the ability to offer its clients better insight into the performance of their business and make informed decisions to improve results.

“Grace has an incredible background in long term care claims management, with decades of experience at both insurers and service providers that give her a unique perspective,” said Peter Goldstein, CEO of LTCG. “I’m excited to invest in someone with this broad industry experience who can help take our claims management capabilities to the next level.”

Grace will also be responsible for reviewing LTCG’s current claims practices and processes against the four key principles of risk mitigation—incidence, intensity, cost and duration. Her longer-term responsibilities including driving other claims innovation initiatives, supporting onboarding of new clients and conducting claims audits. Given her reputation as a highly-respected leader, Grace will also join LTCG’s other executives in representing the company across the long term care industry.
