LIMA, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pilot Freight Services (Pilot), a worldwide provider of transportation and logistics services, today announced the promotion of Gordon Branov, a 20-year Pilot veteran, to chief executive officer, and John Hill to president after 23 years with the company. Richard Phillips, who has served as chief executive officer for 10 years, will move into the role of chairman of the board, and Lou Cortese, former president, will retire after more than 30 years of service.
These changes, effective July 1, bring forth a lineup of Pilot leaders who have helped the company achieve decades of continuous growth and have the experience, drive, and leadership skills to maintain Pilot’s success.
