NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The National Father’s Day Committee announced it will honor three exceptional men at the 76th Annual Father of the Year Awards luncheon, being held today, Thursday, June 15th, at the New York Hilton Hotel.
2017 Father of the Year Honorees:

Michael Strahan
Two-time Emmy winner and Super Bowl Champion Michael Strahan is the co-host of ABC’s “Good Morning America” and serves as an analyst for “Fox NFL Sunday.” Mr. Strahan is also the co-host of the top-rated primetime game show favorite, “$100,000 Pyramid” on ABC, produced by his own company, SMAC Entertainment, in association with Sony Pictures Television.

Marvin Ellison, Chairman & CEO of JCPenney
With more than 30 years of industry experience, Marvin Ellison is a seasoned retail executive with a proven track record of improving operations and increasing revenues. As Chairman and CEO of JCPenney, he has made significant and meaningful improvements, streamlining the Company’s areas of focus in order to achieve profitability.

Gary Aurin, 2017 Ashok C. Sani “All-Star” Dad
Gary Aurin is the father of 12-year-old twin boys Kyle and Brett. He is married to Trina Klossing-Aurin, and they just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. His greatest joy is spending time with his children and supporting their development as they grow from boys into men.
Mark Shriver, Senior Vice President of Save the Children’s U.S. Programs and Advocacy and President of Save the Children Action Network, will serve as Master of Ceremonies at this year’s awards.
Proceeds of the luncheon will benefit Save the Children’s U.S. Programs and Save the Children Action Network, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to making lasting positive change in the lives of children in need in the United States and around the world. This award recognizes a special father who continuously goes above and beyond in not only his commitment to his own children, but to his community and those children needing positive role models to guide and support their growth and development.
