Northwest Physicians Network Appoints Julie Stroud, MD, MMM as Medical Director for Quality & Clinical Services

TACOMA, Wash.--()--Northwest Physicians Network of Washington, LLC (NPN), an Independent Physicians Association and the largest multi-specialty provider network in Washington, has named Julie Stroud, MD, MMM as Medical Director for Quality & Clinical Services.

Kronlund, MD, MS, President & Chief Medical Officer of NPN. “Her experience in family medicine, urgent care and physician leadership paired with her global training and education will be an enormous asset to the organization as we grow and evolve.”

In this role, Dr. Stroud will be instrumental in growing NPN’s provider network while ensuring the network is fully equipped to best serve and support physicians and their practices. “I’m in awe of all NPN has achieved, and all the network has done on behalf of its physician members,” says Dr. Stroud. “I’m eager to grow our membership and support NPN physicians and practices in their commitment to quality, value and care.”

Dr. Stroud comes to us with 10 years of experience in roles such as Medical Director of Urgent Cares, Urgent Care Physician and Family Physician. She is the founder and former president of Christ Community Free Clinic in Auburn, and has worked at a number of international healthcare sites in Hong Kong, China, England, Egypt and Uganda.

A graduate of Western Washington University with a B.A. in Fitness & Exercise Science, Dr. Stroud earned her M.D. at the Kigezi International School of Medicine, studying in both England and Uganda. She then completed her residency within the University of Washington Family Medicine Residency Network at Swedish First Hill. Dr. Stroud holds a Masters in Medical Management (MMM) from the University of Southern California and is currently completing a Certified Physician Executive (CPE) program with the American Association of Physician Leadership.
