Seattle IP Boutique Christensen O’Connor Johnson Kindness Adds Four Patent Attorneys

SEATTLE--()--Seattle-based Christensen O'Connor Johnson Kindness (COJK) announces the addition of four highly regarded patent attorneys from the Seattle office of Blakely Sokoloff Taylor & Zafman. The addition of partners James Go and Cory Claassen and associates Daniel Hutchins and Denton McAlister deepens COJK's electrical engineering capabilities, as all four attorneys have significant experience in semiconductor processes and devices, computer hardware, medical devices, applied optics, micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS), and related technologies.

Jim Go's patent practice spans over 20 years, and includes all aspects of patent law. He provides patent services to domestic and foreign clients in the electrical and computer engineering fields. Jim holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Washington, a M.S. in computer engineering from the University of Southern California, and a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law.

Cory Claassen provides complete patent legal services to a wide variety of clients in the electrical, optical, and mechanical fields. He holds a B.A.Sc. in physics and electrical engineering from the University of British Columbia. Cory obtained his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law.

Dan Hutchins is a patent attorney with experience in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the electrical, mechanical, chemical, and computer software fields. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in materials science and engineering from the University of Washington and earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law.

Denton McAlister is a patent attorney focusing his practice on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the electrical fields. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
