PHILADELPHIA--()--“American Idol” alum and country music star, Kellie Pickler, will perform her hits at The Event Center at SugarHouse Casino on Saturday, August 5 at 9 p.m. Known for her powerful vocals and charming personality, Pickler is a country music dynamo and television star, having entertained fans for over a decade. Tickets for her performance go on sale Friday, June 2 and cost $49-$59.

Pickler catapulted to fame as a fan favorite on the fifth season of “American Idol,” at the age of 19. She then went on to release her debut album, which produced three hit singles: “Red High Heels,” “I Wonder” and “Things That Never Cross a Man’s Mind.” Since her start in 2005, Pickler has released four studio albums, including the critically-acclaimed “100 Proof,” which was named the No. 1 Country Album of The Year by Rolling Stone in 2012.

“We’re so excited to welcome Kellie Pickler to The Event Center stage,” said Wendy Hamilton, general manager at SugarHouse Casino. “Kellie’s a spectacular vocalist and her performance is sure to be a treat for a city that loves country music.”

No stranger to the “American Idol” stage, Pickler returned to the show twice in 2016, including an appearance for a special series finale performance. With no shortage of Southern charm, Pickler has become a quick television favorite, having made guest appearances on “Ellen,” “Good Morning America,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” and several other shows. In 2015, the country star premiered her own docu-comedy series on CMT, which co-stars her husband. The show debuted to the highest ratings for a CMT network premiere since 2012, returned in 2016 for a second season and is currently filming season three.

Tickets for Pickler’s show, and for all SugarHouse performances, including Creedence Clearwater Revisited (June 30) and the Golden Boys (July 21), can be purchased online at the SugarHouse Casino Event Center page.

In addition to live performances and concerts, the SugarHouse Casino Event Center can be reserved for a variety of occasions, including weddings, corporate receptions, seminars, trade shows and more. The space features floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic views of the Delaware River waterfront and the Ben Franklin Bridge. Parking is always free.
