GEICO Hosts Special Hiring Event in Columbus May 31 and June 1 for Auto Damage Trainees

COLUMBUS, Ohio--()--GEICO is growing faster and adding more customers than ever. “What we need now are more adjusters to give our customers help when they need it,” said Don Robinson, regional vice president.

To recruit more talent, GEICO is opening its auto damage training program to candidates during a special hiring event Wednesday, May 31, and Thursday, June 1, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at GEICO’s Columbus-Polaris office, 470 Olde Worthington Road, Suite 200, Westerfield, Ohio.

GEICO will provide paid professional training for college and technical school grads to join its expanding team of auto damage adjusters. Qualified candidates for auto damage positions must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. They need solid computer, grammar and multi-tasking skills and the ability to work well with customers.

Those selected for the trainee program will learn the business during an extensive nine-week training program, including three weeks at the GEICO Auto Damage School in Ashburn, Va.
