IRVING, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vizient, Inc. is recognized by Forbes as one of “America’s Best Management Consulting Firms” for 2017. Vizient made the Forbes list in three categories: Supply Chain Management, Innovation/Growth, and Operations. Vizient’s subsidiary Sg2 is also recognized on Forbes’ list in the Health Care & Life Sciences, Data Analytics & Big Data and Operations categories.
“We are honored to again be recognized on the Forbes list in multiple categories,” said Dan Piro, executive vice president, advisory services for Vizient. “The Vizient and Sg2 client base is extremely diverse and spans academic medical centers, pediatric facilities, community hospitals, integrated health delivery networks and non-acute health care providers. These health care organizations must provide high quality care at the lowest possible cost in a constantly shifting health care environment. They look to us for expertise and solutions to help them overcome barriers and meet their goals. Being included in this list is another confirmation of the strategic insights and skills we offer.”
The lists of the Best Management Consulting Firms are based on two surveys: a colleague survey of consulting experts (partners and project managers from management consultancies) and a client survey among senior executives, who have previously worked with management consultancies. Consultants and executives could make recommendations for consultancies in 16 industries and 16 functional areas.
The ranking is comprised exclusively of consultancies that have a sufficient number of recommendations; a mention is therefore positive and indicates a vote of confidence from the market.
