CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Canadian Investor Relations Institute ("CIRI") Alberta Chapter is pleased to report that, at its annual meeting of shareholders held on May 2, 2017, 12 nominees were elected as Executives of the Chapter with Helen Kelly appointed as the new Chair.
Helen is Director, Investor Relations for MEG Energy Corp. and has served on the CIRI Alberta Executive since 2012, having been in the role of Treasurer for the last two years. Helen possesses more than 10 years of experience in the oil and gas sector in Calgary. She joined MEG Energy as Director, Investor Relations in 2011. Prior to that, Helen worked for Suncor Energy as a planning analyst in the company’s growing in-situ oil sands business before taking on the role of Manager of Investor Relations in 2009. Her previous experience also includes equity research at UBS, in addition to progressive roles in treasury, operations, merger-integration and business development at the Asian headquarters of a UK-based conglomerate. Helen holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
