Uncover Trump Rally Set for Saturday, May 13

Montgomery County Courthouse - Norristown

NORRISTOWN, Pa.--()--A region-wide rally to @UncoverTrump and expose the ways the public can make him and Congress accountable has been organized by multiple activist groups, legislators and ethics professionals. The event will take place on Saturday, May 13 from 2-4 pm on the steps of the Montgomery County Courthouse at 2 E. Airy Street in Norristown.

Speakers will include US Congressman Brendan Boyle, a member of the House Committee on Budget as well as the House Committee for Foreign Affairs and its Subcommittees on Terrorism and the Middle East. Boyle is expected to shed light on Congressional investigations.

Temple University Law Professor Craig Green and Wharton Professor of Legal Studies and Business Ethics Eric Orts will provide insight on conflicts of interest, executive branch power issues and legal cases challenging Trump as radio and TV host Michael Coard, Reverend Gregory Holston, State Senators Art Haywood and Vincent Hughes inspire the crowd to take follow up action. Musical interludes and anthems will unify the attendees.

Timed to precede the May 16 Pennsylvania primary election, the rally seeks to inform the voting public about issues vital to the welfare of the state and our nation as well as to energize voters to take positive steps on relevant topics including ethics in government, immigration, environment, healthcare and more.
