Galvanize Partners with Women Who Code to Bring Technology and Education Opportunities to More Women

DENVER--()--Galvanize and Women Who Code (WWCode) announced a unique partnership today that embarks on an exciting opportunity of providing more women access to education, resources and pathways into the technology industry.

“We are thrilled to be an inclusion partner of WWCode, whose mission to inspire women to excel in technology careers is one which we wholeheartedly support,” said Galvanize CEO Jim Deters. “At Galvanize, we are committed to investing in technology and education that is accessible to anyone—specifically the traditionally underrepresented—with the determination and drive to learn the skills they need to transform their lives.”

WWCode Vice President of Partnerships Jennifer Tacheff said, "Galvanize's continued support for WWCode demonstrates a commitment to empowering women to become leaders in the tech industry. This partnership helps to propel our catalytic work of providing training and skills for women to level up in their careers, so they can innovate and continue to shape the future of tech."

This collaborative effort supports women in technology by providing additional opportunities through Galvanize being recognized as an official WWCode school, participation in Galvanize events and scholarships. Galvanize faculty and team members are available as resources for WWCode members enrolled in immersive courses and work space is available in the Galvanize San Francisco campus.

The WWCode premier developer conference, WWCode CONNECT 2017, is being held this Saturday, April 29 in San Francisco. WWCode CONNECT 2017 brings together speakers from around the world to share their stories and expertise about technology. Join the Women Who Code community for in-depth panels, technical workshops, keynotes, and actionable advice on advancing your career.

For those who are thinking about investing in their future through the Galvanize Community Program, our inclusion partners and their members receive a 20% discount on Galvanize Data Science and Web Development immersive programs by registering before July 1, 2017.
