El Diario/La Prensa, the premier publication to reach New York-area Hispanics, will host the 22nd Annual Mujeres Destacadas Awards Luncheon on April 28, 2017 at The Harvard Club of New York honoring 20 outstanding women and leaders. Previous recipients of the award have come from the world of business, government, non-profit and entertainment, and have all reached a level of distinction due to their hard work and determination.

“I am excited to continue this great legacy that celebrate remarkable women that are paving the way for future generations of Latina women,” stated Gabriel Dantur, CEO of impreMedia. “Mujeres Destacadas not only celebrates the contributions and achievements of these women but also showcases their great strength and tenacity that will inspire other Latinas to become tomorrow’s leaders, business owners and advocates for our communities.”

Past honorees include: Supreme Court Justice, Sonia Sotomayor, Former New York Secretary of State, Loraine Cortez-Vazquez, actors, Ana Ortiz and Lauren Velez and TV Host Daisy Fuentes.
