ZURICH & NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Geneva Association en de International Insurance Society (IIS) hebben de winnaars van de Shin Research Excellence Awards 2017 bekendgemaakt. Het awardprogramma is een gezamenlijk initiatief van de twee organisaties voor onderzoek naar het verzekeringswezen.
Thomas Holzheu en Ginger Turner van Swiss Re wonnen de prijs voor hun paper “The Natural Catastrophe Protection Gap”. Ze tot winnaar verkozen na een grondige beoordeling van de inzendingen onder leiding van The Geneva Association en IIS. Het onderzoek wordt gepresenteerd op het IIS Global Insurance Forum in Londen, dat van 17 tot 20 juli kopstukken uit de verzekeringsbranche uit alle delen van de wereld trekt. Het paper wordt ook gepubliceerd in de The Geneva Papers on Risk and Insurance en gedistribueerd door de IIS en The Geneva Association.
