MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kroll Ontrack, the data recovery and data storage technologies arm of KrolLDiscovery, today released a significant update to their Ontrack® PowerControls™ software that is used to search, recover, restore and manage data in the Microsoft® Exchange, Office 365, Microsoft® Office SharePoint® and Microsoft® SQL Server® environments.

- SQL Server 2016

- Office 2016
- Outlook 2016
Office 365 is also included in the update and was added in the last revision of Ontrack PowerControls to support cloud data and legacy versions of Microsoft software.
Ontrack PowerControls has expanded support for SQL backups by adding new backup formats for an increased amount of precision and efficiency when restoring data. As the use of the cloud for data storage increases, Kroll Ontrack continues to provide new capabilities, including supporting SQL Azure as a target in Ontrack PowerControls 9.0.
