“This is an exciting year for Easterseals Bay Area, which has grown tremendously over the past several years,” said Susan Armiger, president and CEO of Easterseals Bay Area. “We have developed new capabilities and expanded our services. I am very proud of all that we have achieved together and excited by our future ahead.”

Headlining this year’s annual gala is Janelle Monáe, music icon and actress in the 2017 Academy Award winning film for best picture “Moonlight” and the popular film “Hidden Figures.” Serving as master of ceremonies during the event is CBS San Francisco's “Foodie Chap” Liam Mayclem.

Easterseals Bay Area’s guest attendees are contributing to its mission of raising funds for a $20 million endowment that will soon help families defray the cost for services for their children living with autism. With such a fund in place, families within the Easterseals Bay Area footprint will have access to a holistic model of services that bring life-changing solutions.

Easterseals Bay Area continues to expand its services throughout the Bay Area communities and to grow the organization’s geographic reach. From 125 clients in 2012, Easterseals Bay Area today serves more than 3,500 clients in 24 counties across Northern California. It has also increased its network of behavioral health providers to more than 3,600 professionals.
