CHAPEL HILL, N.C.--()--Dr. Elizabeth A. Gulledge, Leadership Trainer and Speaker at Bell Leadership Institute, will participate in the 2017 CEO Build by Habitat for Humanity of Orange County in downtown Chapel Hill, NC on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Bell Leadership Institute is honored to be a Build Sponsor for this year's annual CEO Build.

Launched in 2011, the Orange County Habitat for Humanity’s CEO Build has given Triangle CEOs and top executives the opportunity to give back to their local community. For the past seven years, participants in this event have sponsored, built and repaired homes with 17 families. Partnering with Orange County Habitat for Humanity is a natural fit with Bell Leadership’s mission.

“Building leaders to contribute to their teams, families, organizations and communities is what we focus on in each of the programs of our Leadership Mastery SeriesTM,” states Dr. Gulledge. “Advanced Teamwork, in particular, is geared towards teams that want to improve their ability to work hard, smart and together.” Advanced Teamwork is held in Chapel Hill annually (June 20 & 21) and is a popular option for Bell Trainers to deliver onsite for individual companies, departments and teams. The Bell team is looking forward to continue their collaboration with Habitat in a Company Build Day later this year.

Dr. Gulledge draws on international experience as an analyst, speaker and published author. She has worked with FORTUNE 500 companies in the media and tech industries in the U.S. and internationally, to identify blind spots and overcome roadblocks in organizational settings. Prior to becoming a trainer and coach, she taught at the leading business schools in Europe in the areas of organizational development, change management and strategic decision making. Her work is published in the foremost business and management publications and she has presented at the major international conferences in those fields.

She received her BA (Political Science) from Duke University and Master's degrees (International Relations and International Business) and PhD (Organizational Theory) from the University of St. Andrews in the United Kingdom.

Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity, is a nonprofit that helps people in Orange County live in affordable and safe homes. With the help from volunteers and donations, the organization builds homes for families in need. The organization also provides assistance with home repair for families in non-Habitat homes. Habitat for Humanity of Orange County has provided their service to over 260 families since their beginning in 1984.
