MIAMI & DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (“Southern Glazer’s”)—the largest North American wine and spirits distribution company—today announced that it had appointed Tim Redell as the new Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the Company’s business with Campari America. In this role, Redell will manage the Campari relationship nationally, working with Southern Glazer’s regional, state, national account teams and operations to grow Campari’s portfolio of brands and leverage the scale of the relationship. He will report directly to Brad Vassar, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer of Southern Glazer’s.
Campari America—a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of Davide Campari-Milano S.p.A. (Reuters CPRI.MI - Bloomberg CPR IM)—recently announced a renewed and expanded distribution agreement with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits. The agreement, which already included 27 markets represented by Southern Glazer’s, added 14 more markets including Texas, Louisiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Maryland, DC, West Virginia, North Carolina, Virginia, Mississippi, Alabama, Oklahoma, and Montgomery County.

Redell joined Southern Glazer’s in March of 2016 as the Vice President and General Manager, East Region, for the Company’s Transatlantic Spirits Division managing the Bacardi USA, Patron Spirits, and Heaven Hill Brands portfolios. In this role he was responsible for driving the division strategy and commercial execution within New York, Florida, South Carolina, Maryland/DC, Kentucky, and Delaware. Prior to joining the Company, he served as Vice President, Trade Marketing at Campari America. Redell has over 20 years of experience in the wine and spirits industry, including over 16 years working for Campari America and Trinchero Family Estates.
