LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) will again partner with Art Hearts Fashion during LA Fashion Week to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and promote sexual health through HIV/STD testing, treatment and consistent condom usage. As part of the Fall/Winter 2017 LA Fashion Week collection of shows, Art Hearts Fashion runway show events will be held March 14–17th at the Beverly Hilton Hotel located at 9876 Wilshire Blvd.
Founded by fashion designer and producer Erik Rosete in 2011, Art Hearts Fashion has become an important platform in the fashion industry, and its popularity has led to featured shows in both the Mercedes Benz New York City Fashion Week and Los Angeles Fashion Week. This week’s fashion show events will be attended by India’s openly gay Prince Manvendra Singh Gohil and will feature designers including Lily Marotto, Jonathan Marc Stein, Charles and Ron, Rich by Richie Rich, Fernando Alberto Atelier and Mister Triple X. Social media star Shannon T. Boodram (@Shanboody) will provide live updates from the show.
AHF has been the presenting sponsor of Art Hearts Fashion for three years. Most recently, AHF partnered with Art Hearts Fashion in February for a pre-Valentine’s Day fashion show event during New York Fashion Week to celebrate International Condom Day. This year’s International Condom Day theme, “Always In Fashion,” promoted the safer sex message that using condoms never goes out of style.
“We are always excited to partner with Erik to present Art Hearts Fashion and provide a platform for fashion designers who support AHF’s mission and want to help raise awareness about the ongoing battle against HIV/AIDS,” said AHF’s Chief of Global Advocacy and Policy Terri Ford. “It’s through successful partnerships like this one that AHF is able to reach new audiences with our message of prevention and treatment and keep attention on the fact that condoms are always in fashion!”
