Softvision Names Andres Angelani New CEO

ATLANTA--()--Softvision, LLC, a leading global provider of digital and mobility solutions, analytics, and custom software development, today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Andres Angelani as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

“We are thrilled to have Andres join us as our new CEO,” said CFO Tom Delbrook. “Softvision has experienced tremendous growth as it has expanded its digital capabilities. It has also become increasingly global, with delivery centers in the U.S., Romania and India. This growth and diversification demand a CEO with vision, strategy, and global expertise – Andres fits perfectly and will be instrumental in taking Softvision to new levels of growth and superior delivery for customers looking for digital transformation.”

“Andres’s passion, creativity, and digital expertise are unparalleled in our industry,” added President of Digital Laurentiu Russo. “He has been at the forefront of addressing the growing customer demand for digital IT services and has managed transformations for some of the largest and most technologically advanced companies in the world. Andres has the ability to bring together teams across the globe for world-class delivery, and his cutting-edge approach to digital will be a massive benefit to Softvision’s marquis customer base and open a whole new chapter for the company.”

Prior to Softvision, Angelani worked at Globant, which he joined in 2004. He most recently served as the Chief Solutions Officer, responsible for the design and build of digital solutions and leading strategic customer engagements globally. His areas of expertise include enterprise software architecture, agile transformation, and game development. Before becoming Chief Solutions Officer, Angelani served as the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Globant’s gaming studio, leading business on the West Coast, as well as Vice President of Engineering and Director of Global Presales Consulting from the U.K.

“I joined Softvision because it is a place where I can freely pursue my passion for digital transformation, helping clients differentiate through the creation of digital products that foster and scale unique experiences among their brands, products, services, and customers, employees, partners and stakeholders,” said Angelani. “Technology has impacted the way people interact with products and services, decreasing tolerance to friction and creating a new breadth of opportunities for businesses to connect and differentiate. As modern technology can scale personalized experiences between people and brands, expectations change, and the standardization that large corporations developed in the past decades to meet scale may now be perceived as friction. Digital fosters the development of new business models, improving the level of experience to new heights within an ever-evolving agile enterprise. The winners find the way to leverage technology to “humanize” relationships with customers, evolving constantly, and creating more opportunities as these connections span an increasing number of systems of engagement across multiple channels.”

“In the digital age,” Angelani continues, “technology helps scale fulfilling connections that enhance how products and services are delivered, and further evolved to meet explicit and implicit needs. Softvision has the footprint, people, and capabilities to help companies navigate this new digital world. I am passionate to work in such a cool, agile company with the core DNA required to help our clients be digital. Softvision can succeed in a ‘full stack’ transformation because it can evolve the foundations on which the new digital journeys are created and run. The deep experience Softvision has in the industry is critical to bringing customers to an agile state of continuous digital maturity. I am honored to lead such a remarkable organization, and I am committed to delivering for both its customers and its exceptional employees.”

Angelani has spoken at the Agile Business Conference, Insight Innovation eXchange North America, the Omni-Channel Retail Conference, the Chief Strategy Officer Summit and SXSW Interactive, Zend Con, and co-authored The Never-Ending Digital Journey: Creating New Consumer Experiences Through Technology. He holds a BS in Business Management from the University of Belgrano, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and speaks English, Spanish and Italian.

This hire follows the merger of Softvision and Software Paradigms International (SPI) in 2016 and the corporate rebranding of the company to Softvision in January 2017, along with the launch of a new website that highlights its deep digital and retail experience, strong communication culture, and an agile development process.
