Int’l Zika Virus Conference Add More Breakout Sessions

Organizing Committee adds more sessions to conference as a result of delegates input, Including Key Updates to Zika Preparedness and Response Plan

WASHINGTON--()--The International Zika Virus Conference & Workshop organizing committee has responded to the needs of the ZIKV Conference delegates by adding more breakout sessions to the upcoming event. Sessions added include presentations on the Zika Prevention, Community Engagement and Cultural Equity. Establishment and Implementation of A Scalable Vector borne Disease Response Plan at the Local Level and many more. ZIKV Conference will be held at the Hilton Washington Dulles Airport Hotel, March 29-30 and will be followed by all day hands-on workshops on the 31st.

Emergency Preparedness Leaders, National and Local Vector Control Officials, Healthcare Providers, Public and Private sector Partners will have access to ZIKV experts from around the world to address the issues of continued planning for the possibility of a more severe outbreak of ZIKV this summer.
