VenueNext Expands to the Healthcare Industry with Saint Luke’s Health System

VenueNext to Consolidate Saint Luke’s Hospital Services and Information Apps into One Easy to Use Mobile App for Patients, Visitors and Employees at All Locations

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--()--VenueNext, the industry leading venue technology platform company, announced today its expansion into the healthcare industry with its first customer Saint Luke’s Health System (MO). Widely known for enhancing the guest experiences for professional sports and entertainment customers, the company will bring its award-winning technology to Saint Luke’s to improve the patients, visitors and employees experience at all of their locations.

“VenueNext’s technology platform has been quickly adopted by the sports and entertainment industries and we believe our value proposition extends to the healthcare industry and beyond,” said John Paul, CEO and founder of VenueNext. “We look forward to working closely with Saint Luke’s to deliver an integrated and easy to use mobile app experience for the more than three hundred thousand individuals who visit their locations each year.”

VenueNext will work with Saint Luke’s to integrate the hospital’s multiple mobile apps into a new single application which will connect patients, employees, and visitors to the hospital services and information they need when visiting a Saint Luke’s location; including managing their health information through the Epic MyChart* patient portal, enabling telehealth services, navigating the hospital, expanding food and beverage ordering and more.

“At Saint Luke’s we strive to provide our patients, visitors and employees with the best possible experience when visiting our campuses, and we are excited to work with VenueNext to improve upon our current mobile offering,” said Debe Gash, Chief Information Officer at Saint Luke’s Health System. “By integrating all of our services and hospital care information into one mobile app we can make it easier for our patients and visitors to find and access the information they need quickly to make their visit with us as comfortable and convenient as possible.”

Through its partnership with Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, VenueNext will use Aruba’s BLE Beacons and the Aruba Meridian Mobile App Platform to enable proximity notifications and wayfinding services in select areas of Saint Luke’s. Guests will receive welcome messages and be notified of special services as they navigate through the hospital.
