Veteran Legal Recruiter Natasha Innocenti Launches Innocenti Partners

New Firm Specializes in Technology, Government Attorneys Transitioning to Private Practice, and Women

SAN FRANCISCO--()--Natasha Innocenti, one of the nation’s most respected legal recruiters, announced today the launch of Innocenti Partners, a legal search boutique specializing in the representation of law firm partners and partner groups in the lateral market. Innocenti brings to her new venture 20 years of experience, which includes placing hundreds of partners at AmLaw 100 and 200 firms and opening nine Bay Area offices for out-of-town firms.

Innocenti founded Innocenti Partners following a 13-year tenure at the global legal recruiting firm Major, Lindsey & Africa, where she served as Managing Partner for both their San Francisco and Palo Alto offices and as head of the Partner Practice for Northern California.

“After working alongside the best legal recruiting talent in the country for many years, I decided it was time to step out on my own and build a company that focuses on the areas of the practice that are not only the most interesting to me, but where I see a real need for quality guidance and representation,” said Innocenti. “Recruiting hundreds of top-tier law firm partners in the Bay Area has given me a unique window into technology and life science practices, among other increasingly in-demand areas of the law, and I’m eager to parlay this expertise into work with clients nationwide.”

She has particularly deep experience placing corporate and litigation partners focusing in technology and life sciences, and in recent years an increasingly large share of her practice has been devoted to representing women as well as high-profile government attorneys moving to private practice.

Innocenti has represented high-level government attorneys transitioning out of the Department of Justice and the United States Attorney’s office with expertise in antitrust, securities enforcement, white collar, privacy, and cybersecurity. Additionally, she brings a thorough understanding of the particular challenges female partners face and the competitive importance for firms to retain and recruit top women partners. She has advocated extensively for diversity in the legal field and to combat the gender gap in law firm compensation through her speaking appearances and her non-profit work.

Innocenti is a frequent speaker on law firm diversity, best practices in integrating lateral hires, partner compensation, and various other issues pertinent to the California and national legal markets. She currently serves as a Board Member of The Law Foundation of Silicon Valley, is an Advisory Board Member of the UC Hastings Leadership Academy for Women, and co-founded the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) West.
