BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dishman Law announces a settlement is being proposed by Toyota concerning rust corrosion which can lead to accelerated corrosion and jeopardize the vehicle’s structural integrity. The proposed settlement purports to only include certain years of Toyota Tacoma, Tundra (2007-2008) and Sequoia (2005-2008) vehicles. Toyota has allegedly known for years of the serious problems with its truck frame corrosion and also truck bed corrosion and it has tried to deal with all of these serious issues quietly through a series of inadequate low-key customer-service campaigns. In some instances, depending on the extent of corrosion, Toyota proposes the frame will only be cleaned and a corrosion-resistant compound will be applied.
