FUZE REPORTS RECORD GROWTH, INDUSTRY LEADERSHIP RECOGNITION IN Q3 2016

Top analyst positioning and industry awards round out the quarter’s accomplishments

Fuze, the leading UCaaS solution for the modern global enterprise, announced today it achieved key growth milestones in the third quarter of 2016. The Company signed on 115 new customers – accounting for a 116 percent increase in sales compared to the prior year period. Large enterprise customer wins around the globe signal increasing demand for cloud-based communications platforms and a desire to unify voice, video, messaging, and collaboration applications into one app built for how people work.

Fuze’s top ten deals in this period combine for $30.3M in contract value and 30,000 additional users globally. Customers added in the third quarter include German firm, atrain, as well as Trustpilot and the National Geographic Society, demonstrating continued strength globally across the professional services, high tech, and media sectors.

“The continued growth we’re seeing in the size of deals and new customer accounts signals the overall trend of larger global enterprises now seriously considering a move to cloud-based communications,” said Steve Kokinos, CEO, Fuze. “We’re also finding that these enterprise customers are dealing with a mess of point solutions for communications and collaboration. Time and again we’re hearing they have a strong desire to simplify that landscape, making it the right time to introduce them to the new Fuze, where voice, video, messaging, and collaboration come together in one simple, elegant user experience.”

Marking the seventh consecutive year the Company has been evaluated in its objective reporting, Gartner, Inc. this year positioned Fuze as a Leader in its August 2016 Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service, Worldwide* report. According to Gartner, “enterprise planners should look for expanded global capacity, better customer service and project management, an expanded set of APIs, and the ability to deploy a richer set of UC functionality led by mobility and video.” Selection criteria measuring the completeness of vision and ability to execute spanned six broad functions: voice and telephony, conferencing, messaging, presence and instant messaging, clients, and communication-enabled applications.

In September, Fuze was ranked 19th on the first-ever Forbes 2016 Cloud 100, the definitive list of the top 100 private cloud companies in the world, developed in partnership with Bessemer Venture Partners and Salesforce Ventures. Said Alex Konrad, Forbes editor of the Cloud 100 list: “Cloud companies are revolutionizing how businesses reach their customers today from digitizing painful old processes to allowing them more time to focus on what they really care about—what makes their products unique. Inclusion in the Forbes 2016 Cloud 100 list recognizes a company for its financial growth and excellence as recognized by customers and peers.” Most recently, Forbes named Fuze one of 2016’s Next Billion-Dollar Startups, a second-annual list of 25 companies that are transforming their industries and showing tangible results. Assembled with the help of TrueBridge Capital Partners, Forbes conducted extensive reporting and analysis, examining companies’ track records, evaluating business plans, and talking to founders, investors, customers and competitors.

The award recognition continued with Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council (MassTLC) recognizing Fuze as the 2016 “Emerging Company of the Year” and naming the Fuze platform this year’s “Best Use of Cloud Technology.” Evaluated against hundreds of nominees, Fuze earned top honors as a transformative company that has in the last 12 months realized significant growth in revenue, local workforce, and global adoption of its modern communications platform.

The Company also rolled out the availability of a new value-added service, Fuze Premier Care, an enterprise customer offering designed to meet the unique technical support needs of medium-to-large sized global businesses. Architected alongside its customer base, the service consists of UC and UCaaS experts at Fuze who intimately know the brand’s customers and their unique environments, and who have a deep technical understanding of the Fuze platform.
