CommCreative Announces Opening of Factory Mark Gallery

Gallery showcases artwork from emerging and reemerging local artists; Inspires on-site unified marketing agency team

FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--()--CommCreative, a leading unified marketing agency, today announced the opening of the Factory Mark Gallery. Factory Mark Gallery is located in the new CommCreative headquarters at 75 Fountain Street in Framingham, Mass.

Creativity is at the core of everything produced by the CommCreative team. As such, the Factory Mark Gallery was formed and brought to life by CommCreative’s Founder and President Bob Fields and Agency Partner Lisa McCarthy. CommCreative has always had a deep connection with the art world, and Factory Mark is a physical location to display that link and support the arts community. The gallery also inspires, energizes, and invigorates the team at the agency.

“The Factory Mark Gallery makes an incredible statement at the entrance of our headquarters,” said Bob Fields, founder and president of CommCreative. “But beyond the visual impact, it personifies our love for the arts and allows Lisa and I, along with the entire CommCreative team, to show our support to artists who are so deserving of recognition. In addition, our team benefits from the creative inspiration we feel by being surrounded by these incredible original works of art.”

Factory Mark Gallery occupies 2,500 square feet of space on the main floor of the CommCreative office, plus other various works being displayed throughout the more than 11,000 square foot building. The gallery is dedicated to showcasing the works of emerging and reemerging artists. 100 percent of the proceeds made from selling pieces in the gallery go directly to the artists to help further support their work.

The opening exhibit highlights the work of Cambridge, Mass.-based sculptor and ceramist Michelle Lougee. Lougee’s work, Anthroplastique, reflects the increasingly precarious relationship with the planet. The pieces follow themes and share iconography that flow from one panel or piece to the next. Lougee uses mediums including ceramics, collaged and sewn paper, and her signature material, crocheted post-consumer plastic bags, for a new look at our habits, ourselves, and our precious planet.

“To be a featured artist at the Factory Mark Gallery is an incredible honor,” said Lougee. “Often, all the costs and promotion around an exhibition falls on the artist. Factory Mark is a unique and rare gallery, where all the proceeds come directly back to us, the artists, to support our work and passion.”

Other notable artists currently featured at Factory Mark Gallery include Nicholas Frank Papa, Shailinn Messer, Sam Ayer, Julie Graham, Meghan Caveney, Nan Hass Feldman, and Lisa McCarthy.
