Cloud Technology Partners Brings Digital Innovation to the Cloud

Digital Innovation practice builds and runs cloud-native software solutions leveraging IoT, Big Data, Machine Learning and more

BOSTON--()--Cloud Technology Partners (CTP), the premier cloud services and software company for enterprises moving to cloud, today announced that it is formally expanding its cloud innovation and development capabilities with the launch of a Digital Innovation practice. CTP’s Digital Innovation practice integrates the firm’s cloud-native application development track record and capabilities in emerging technology and experience design.

Companies are investing in continuous innovation and digital transformation initiatives to rethink how they engage with customers, employees, partners and suppliers. These initiatives are far reaching and include everything from connected devices and the Internet of Things (IoT), to blockchain ledgers, big data, machine learning and more. CTP’s Digital Innovation practice was formalized to help clients realize the immense opportunities for digital transformation in the cloud.

“Digital transformation and innovation are at the core of today’s corporate strategy, and are increasingly executed in the cloud,” said John Treadway, Senior Vice President and Digital Innovation Practice Lead at Cloud Technology Partners. “No company knows more about delivering enterprise-class solutions on the cloud than CTP, which is why many clients are turning to us to help with their most important digital initiatives.”

From designing a mapping platform for autonomous vehicles, to building the IoT systems used for predictive maintenance on locomotives, CTP has completed over 350 enterprise cloud and digital transformation projects. The Digital Innovation practice leverages proprietary software and service IP as well as a lean/agile development methodology to accelerate clients’ time to value.

As part of the Digital Innovation launch, CTP has hired Salina Brown, Experience Design Lead at Cloud Technology Partners, to oversee the firm’s experience design capabilities, build design teams, and work with clients to reimagine their customers’ experience. Salina spent the past eight years launching companies in Boston’s startup eco-system, Techstars and MIT, and most recently head of product design at Weft, Inc.

“Experience design is at the core of delivering digital innovation and goes hand-in-hand with the underlying cloud technology we build at CTP,” said Salina Brown. “We validate products with real customers and anchor our development approach with a deep understanding of the customer's experience. This allows us to build what the user really needs.”

"CTP's Digital Innovation team helped us accelerate our new product development into mobile and cloud applications," said Dane Krampitz, engineering director at AFL Global. "The team was flexible, knowledgeable and their cloud-native expertise made them extremely effective at helping us achieve business results."

CTP’s Digital Innovation practice delivers cloud-native solutions in the areas of:
