NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mishcon de Reya NY LLP is pleased to announce that Andrea Pacelli, Ph.D., J.D., has joined the firm as Senior Counsel. Prior to joining Mishcon, Dr. Pacelli was Counsel at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr. Dr. Pacelli has also held positions at Bell Laboratories and the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology, and was an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Stony Brook University.

Dr. Pacelli’s practice will focus on patent litigation in the electrical and mechanical arts. He has played leadership roles in matters covering a range of technologies such as integrated circuit design, chip manufacturing, power electronics, cloud storage and online advertising. He has represented clients in a variety of proceedings, including investigations before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), Inter Partes Reviews before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and patent infringement actions before U.S. District Courts across the country. He also has experience in international arbitration proceedings and was involved in several patent cross-licensing negotiations for large semiconductor companies.
Dr. Pacelli received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Milan, Italy. He attended law school at Fordham University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
