NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Schulte Roth & Zabel (SRZ) announces that Claudia K. Simon has joined the firm's New York office as a partner in the M&A and Securities Group. She comes to SRZ from Paul Hastings, where she handled high-stakes M&A and private equity transactions for over 13 years.
Ms. Simon focuses on advising strategic and private equity clients on negotiated and hostile mergers and acquisitions, including going-private transactions, tender offers, exchange offers, stock acquisitions, asset acquisitions, joint ventures and auction transactions. She has extensive experience in transactions involving public company targets. In addition to her work in the acquisitions arena, Ms. Simon advises clients on takeover defenses and corporate governance matters.
