GREENSBORO, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kindermusik International, the world’s leader in music and movement education, today announced Judy L. Harris has been unanimously elected Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Harris has served as Chief Executive Officer for several leading educational companies: Carson-Dellosa Publishing, Smarterville LLC, Primedia's Educational Media segment, Channel One Communications and Films Media Group.
She was Executive Vice President, Business & Development for the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) from 2001-2005 and served as Senior Vice President, General Manager, Consumer & Educational Products for Discovery Communications, Inc. from 1999 to 2001. Prior to her work with Discovery Communications from 1985 to 1999, she served as Vice President of Corporate Development with Crayola, a division of Hallmark, Inc., where she was responsible for extending the Crayola brand and created and developed educational resources for parents and children. Ms. Harris received the 2016 Drexel University Alumni of Special Distinction Award.
