Stratus Video Ranked 66th Fastest Growing Private Company in US

Stratus Receives the Inc. 5000 Award for the 4th Consecutive Year

CLEARWATER, Fla.--()--Stratus Video, an industry leader in innovative video interpretation and telehealth solutions, announced today that the company was ranked 66th on Inc. Magazine’s 2016 list of the 5,000 fastest-growing US private companies. This is Stratus’s fourth consecutive year receiving the Inc. 5000 award, which measures companies’ overall revenue growth over three years.

Stratus’s rapid growth is in part due to the high demand for language access services in the health care industry today. Over the past five years Stratus has established itself as a leader in innovative interpretation services. Today, the Stratus Language Access Division includes a video remote interpretation product, Stratus Video, an over-the-phone product, Stratus Audio, and an onsite interpreter solution, Stratus InPerson.

While Language Access remains a top priority for Stratus, the company recently launched its new Telehealth Division under President Lee Horner. This division focuses on providing world-class patient care through the innovative use of familiar technology like tablets and smartphones. At this year’s American Telemedicine Association (ATA) Annual Conference, Stratus introduced two new products: a Post-Hospital Discharge solution and an ER/Urgent Care Virtual Consult solution. The first gives health care providers the ability to follow up with discharged patients remotely, while the second allows for ER and urgent care staff to reach on-call specialists immediately via virtual communication in emergency care situations.

“We are honored to make the Inc. 5000’s list of fastest-growing private companies for a fourth consecutive year,” said David Fetterolf, president of Stratus’s Language Access Division. “Our tremendous growth shows our dedication to patient care and innovation. This technology empowers health care providers to quickly and effectively meet the changing demands of their industry.”

Stratus made the Inc. 5000 list in 2015 when the video remote interpretation product was the company’s primary solution, but now with the launch of the telehealth division and the expansion of language access, Stratus is anticipating more significant growth in 2017.

“Inc. Magazine’s recognition of Stratus again is certainly rewarding – this consistent recognition only reflects on how Stratus continues to evolve – into telehealth and beyond,” said Lee Horner, president of Stratus’s Telehealth Division.
