BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Symetra Financial Corporation today announced the appointment of Evan S. Moskovit, CFA, as senior vice president and head of corporate Fixed Income. In this new role, Moskovit will oversee Symetra’s approximately $19 billion in-house corporate bond portfolio. He reports to Mark Hunt, executive vice president and chief investment officer of Symetra Financial Corporation.
Moskovit joins Symetra from NN Investment Partners in New York, formerly ING Investment Management, where he was head of global investment grade credit and lead portfolio manager. Prior to NN Investment Partners, Moskovit was chief investment officer for Shepherd Financial Partners. His 25-year investment management career also includes senior roles at Sun Capital Advisers, LLC, the registered investment management subsidiary of Sun Life Financial.

Moskovit holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of New Haven’s William E. Dodds School of Business Administration. He also received an M.A. degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the university. Moskovit earned a Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute in 1999.
Moskovit will be based in Farmington, Connecticut, where Symetra Financial’s investment management team is located.
