MADISON, Wis.--()--The largest international conference on DNA analysis for human identification, the 27th International Symposium on Human Identification (ISHI) will feature presentations from leading professionals in the fields of forensic DNA analysis, forensic anthropology, law enforcement and more. Keynote speaker David O’Shea, the award-winning video journalist who documented the work of the Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo in “Returning the Stolen,” will be joined by more than 50 other experts in the field. The symposium will be held September 26–September 29 in Minneapolis, Minnesota,

ISHI 27 features three days of general session presentations complemented by optional small group workshops. Experts on forensic DNA practices and scientists devoted to improving forensic technology will present talks covering:

ISHI attracts more than 900 DNA analysts and forensic scientists from around the world, providing these professionals an opportunity to explore and discuss the latest research, technologies and ethical issues in the field today.
