EDINBURGH, Scotland--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ATM software company KAL’s global presence has been confirmed in a leading industry report which reveals KAL to be the world’s number two supplier of true multivendor ATM software.
KAL’s multivendor ATM software is installed in 43 of the 69 countries surveyed, significantly more than any other competitor. ATM Monitoring is another strong area for KAL with its monitoring software currently deployed across 30 of the 69 countries surveyed. In the ATM Application software category, the report finds that KAL has seen a 92% increase in its installed base since 2012.
The report reveals KAL to be the world’s leading software platform for third party applications, with more than 150,000 ATMs running KAL’s Kalignite Platform along with an ATM application from a different software supplier. This is an increase of 53% for KAL since the previous RBR report in 2013 and 10 times greater than the nearest competitor, and more than all other vendors put together.
KAL CEO Aravinda Korala welcomed the findings in the report, saying: “To be confirmed as an industry leading supplier of ATM multivendor software is testament to the quality of our products and the expertise of our employees. We are well positioned globally to significantly expand our marketshare in the years ahead.”
The report by London-based Retail Banking Research (RBR) identifies KAL as the only software company in the global top three suppliers of ATM software. In the influential study, ATM Software 2016, it is forecast that the multivendor market will grow by 70% by 2020, with all regions enjoying strong growth. KAL’s prominent global ranking puts it in prime position to capitalize on this expansion.
