DETROIT--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The CFA Society of Detroit, an association of local investment professionals consisting of portfolio managers, security analysts, investment advisors, and other financial professionals, today proudly announced the appointment of Sam G Huszczo, CFA® as President of our society, effective immediately. The Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) credential is the most respected and recognized investment management designation in the world. The CFA Program provides a strong foundation of advanced investment analysis and real-world portfolio management skills that will give holders a career advantage.
As president, Mr. Huszczo will have the task of driving the society’s ambitious growth initiatives in the Detroit area including hosting such large names as Kevin O’Leary of Shark Tank fame. Mr. Huszczo has served on the board for the past 5 years and has taken on roles as Treasurer, Programming Chair and Public Awareness Chair. During his initiatives the CFA Society of Detroit has seen increases in attendance and sponsorship. In addition, he brings over 13 years of experience in the investment management industry and is a graduate of the University of Michigan. Mr Huszczo will be the 2nd youngest president in our CFA Society of Detroit’s history, since 1948.
