BURBANK, Calif.--()--Lynne Frank has been promoted to President, International Marketing and Worldwide Planning and Operations, Warner Bros. Pictures, it was announced today by Sue Kroll, President, Worldwide Marketing and Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures to whom she will directly report.

In this newly created position, Frank will be responsible for oversight of the strategic development, campaign planning and execution for all Warner Bros. Pictures releases in overseas territories. Additionally, she’ll work with the global theatrical marketing team to help shape overall brand management of the Studio’s major film titles and franchises. Frank will also collaborate with the film distribution and corporate teams to further theatrical business, planning and development worldwide. She will continue to develop the Studio’s theatrical-related marketing, business and growth initiatives in China. Finally, Frank will have operational responsibility for Warner Bros. Pictures’ global theatrical marketing department.

To ensure strategic alignment of international campaigns, Frank will work closely with Blair Rich, President, Worldwide Marketing, Warner Bros. Pictures.

Prior to her promotion, Frank served as Executive Vice President, International Marketing, Warner Bros. Pictures, the position in which she joined the company in 2010. Among the highly successful international marketing campaigns she’s headed are “The Hobbit” films, “Pacific Rim,” “The Conjuring,” “Interstellar,” “San Andreas” and, most recently, “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

Before joining Warner Bros., Frank spent 17 years in the U.K. working for both the Walt Disney Company and Time Warner. She served five years as Managing Director and Senior Vice President, ESPN Europe, Middle East & Africa and, before that, spent 12 years within the Time Warner family, lastly serving as Managing Director and Executive Vice President, European Entertainment Networks, at Turner Broadcasting System Europe, having held multiple roles after joining the company as Business Development Director for Turner Pictures and Cartoon Network. During her tenure at TBSE, distribution reached 30 million households across more than 30 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, achieving substantial growth during this period. Frank holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics/Business from UCLA.
