EMERYVILLE, Calif. & PALM BAY, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Dallas Mortgage Leadership Roundtable will bring together prominent housing industry experts on June 16, 2016 to discuss the direction of the mortgage industry. The event’s keynote speaker will be Allan Weiss, CEO of Weiss Residential Research, LLC, a publisher of next-generation home price analytics. Weiss’ keynote presentation, “New Approaches to Home Price Risk,” will address best practices for managing risk. Weiss is the co-founder and former CEO of Case-Shiller Weiss, which produces the S&P/Case-Schiller Home Price Index, a leading U.S. housing market index used by economists and analysts.
Additionally, representatives from Fannie Mae will deliver an overview and demonstration of Fannie Mae’s Collateral Underwriter® (CU™), an appraisal risk assessment application that facilitates the proactive management of appraisal quality through automated risk analysis.
Other experts will address key challenges and issues facing the mortgage industry. Speakers will include Kristin Messerli, founder of Cultural Outreach Solutions, speaking about reaching Millennial Homebuyers; Pat Sherlock, founder and president of QFS Consulting, who will speak on building a successful rookie program; Gene O’Bryan, CEO of Solutions Lending Services, speaking about market innovation opportunities; and Lisa Weaver, senior vice president of ISGN, who will discuss best practices for preparing for a CFPB audit.
