NEWTON, Mass. & DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--McKesson Health Solutions and TriZetto, a Cognizant company, have agreed to integrate McKesson ClaimsXten™ and ClaimsXten™ Select clinically-based claims auditing solutions with TriZetto’s QNXT™ enterprise core claim administration system. This latest collaboration between the two market leaders underscores the companies’ commitment to helping payers of all sizes simplify the management of increasingly complex clinical and reimbursement policies.
Health plans are under relentless regulatory and competitive pressure to innovate and scale emerging payment models for improved efficiency and customer experience. Integrating McKesson ClaimsXten and TriZetto QNXT will help payers automate payment and medical policy, simplify management of complex clinical and reimbursement rules, and digitally transform their business through strategic replacement of legacy or homegrown systems.
“McKesson has a long track record of investing in product integration strategies that help our clients successfully take advantage of new technology,” said Carolyn Wukitch, Senior Vice President of McKesson Health Solutions. “Building on our past success developing interfaces between McKesson ClaimsXten and TriZetto Facets™, this integration with QNXT will help ensure smooth transitions—especially from McKesson ClaimCheck® to ClaimsXten Select—and a viable growth path for health plans challenged with scaling mixed fee-for-service and value-based models to operational levels.”
The stringent certification process already in place for the companies’ previous integrations will ensure the reliability and quality of the interfaces between McKesson ClaimsXten and TriZetto QNXT systems prior to each new release.
“Integrating our solutions optimizes the value of both systems,” said Alan Stein, Senior Vice President, Payer Product Management for TriZetto. “This new integration will help health plans boost auto-adjudication rates, reduce manual effort, and take advantage of industry-leading clinically sourced content to provide timely and consistent reimbursement of claims. We’re thrilled to be working with McKesson to bring these capabilities to our QNXT customers.”
