Sharon Stufflebeme and Tom Seng to Speak at Women’s Energy Network – North Texas Chapter May 2016 Luncheon Meetings in Fort Worth and Dallas

DALLAS--()--Sharon Stufflebeme, Vice President of Pariveda Solutions, will be the guest speaker at the luncheon meeting of the Women’s Energy Network (WEN) – North Texas Chapter on Thursday, May 12, 2016, at the Fort Worth Petroleum Club, 777 Main Street #4000. Tom Seng, Assistant Professor – Energy Business, The University of Tulsa will be the guest speaker at the luncheon meeting of WEN – North Texas on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at the Dallas Petroleum Club, 2200 Ross Avenue. Registration for both events will begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by the luncheon from noon-1:00 p.m.

Ms. Stufflebeme will present a talk titled, “I’m at the peak of my life, why is everything piling up and what can I do about it?” at the May Fort Worth luncheon. A question-and-answer session will follow her presentation.

Ms. Stufflebeme has over 25 years of experience in information technology in consulting and CIO roles, developing strategies and innovations that deliver significant business value. She focuses on working with senior executives to define and prioritize business initiatives aligning strategy with core values, people, process, and technology platforms.

Most recently, Ms. Stufflebeme served as the CIO & CHRO for FTS International, an Oil Field Services organization, where she was responsible for all IT strategy and delivery, overhauling all major technology platforms, establishing a respectful, collaborative and results-oriented team culture, making significant improvements in technology and architecture planning, and driving technology operational excellence and security. As CHRO, her efforts improved employee retention and engagement by enhancing employee benefits; spearheading company strategic planning, cascading goals throughout the entire organization; and developing a comprehensive learning development and career progression program for oil field service operations.

As SVP and CIO of RadioShack, Ms. Stufflebeme transformed a team of competent, reliable, service oriented technologists into a powerful contributor to RadioShack strategy, launching key product offerings in mobility, technical and financial services in extremely aggressive timeframes, resulting in significant contributions to company sales and profits. Prior to joining RadioShack, Ms. Stufflebeme served as the SVP and CIO of 7-Eleven, where she met the challenge of driving significant improvements in IT quality, reliability, relevance, and customer focus. Additionally she restructured the IT sourcing strategy, implementing innovative service models and achieving substantial cost reductions while simultaneously improving the performance of outsourced partners. Her past consulting and technology management roles included Partner at Arthur Andersen, Vice President at Hitachi Consulting, and manager at Michael’s Stores and Accenture.

Ms. Stufflebeme is actively involved in the community, serving as Board Member and Voly chair for VolunteerNow; as Board Member for the South Central Region of the Arthritis Foundation, and as Board Member for TCU’s Energy MBA program. Previously, Ms. Stufflebeme served as National Board Member for the Network of Executive Women, and as Board Member for The Board Connection. Ms. Stufflebeme has also served as a CIO Advisory Board Member to TCU, SMU, and AITP.

Mr. Seng will present a discussion titled, “The Current State of US and Global Crude Oil Markets.” A question-and-answer session will follow his presentation.

Mr. Seng is an Applied Assistant Professor of Energy Business and Assistant Director of the School of Energy at The University of Tulsa’s Collins College of Business. His other teaching experiences include serving as an Adjunct Instructor for TU, The University of Oklahoma, Penn State University and, Texas Christian University.

Mr. Seng has over 30 years of experience in the natural gas and natural gas liquids industry including; physical and financial commodity trading, risk management and hedging, pipeline and midstream operations, transportation & storage capacity marketing, and risk control.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York and an MBA in International Oil & Gas Management from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland.
