The Symantec Game Changer awards celebrate hosting providers like 1&1 who are committed to making the internet more secure for small and medium sized business by providing hosting solutions that are exceedingly powerful and secure. As one of the first hosting providers to participate in Symantec’s Encryption Everywhere program in Germany, 1&1 is helping to secure 19 million domain names on the internet. In March of 2016, Symantec announced its intention to help secure every legitimate website and web application by 2018.
