SUMMIT COUNTY, Colo.--()--FirstBank Holding Company, a holding company for Colorado’s second largest bank, announced the financing of Summit Sky Ranch, a new real estate development that will feature 240 ‘mountain-modern’ cabins and homes in Silverthorne.

FirstBank financed the project, helping fund the construction of roads, utilities, houses as well as a community center that features a club room, conference room, pool, spa, and gym. Several homes and the community center will be completed by year-end 2017.

The bank worked with well-known businessman, CEO and President of the Everist Company, Tom Everist, to help finance Summit Sky Ranch on his family’s 418-acre parcel, located a few miles north of I-70 in the Lower Blue Valley.

“We’re honored to partner with someone as respected as Tom and help him create a one-of-a-kind development for active families,” said John Ikard, CEO of FirstBank Holding Company. “We believe Summit Sky Ranch will fill a critical need in Silverthorne by providing single-family homes that give residents space, privacy and access to great amenities.”

Summit Sky Ranch will offer a collection of three-to-five-bedroom homes, ranging between 1,500 sq. ft. to 4,000 sq. ft. It will also feature an observatory, boathouse and private lake that can be used for recreation purposes such as sailing, fly fishing and paddle boarding.

“Summit Sky Ranch has been a longtime vision,” said Tom Everist, whose aggregate, asphalt, and concrete company has supplied materials for Summit County for more than 50 years. “We knew FirstBank would help bring our vision to life and make a great financial partner for Summit Sky Ranch, given they’re locally owned and highly active in the community. They understood our goals and made the financing process as stress-free as possible.”
