PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sidley Austin LLP announced today that Michael T. Frank has joined the firm as a partner in the Palo Alto office. He will be a member of the Employee Benefits practice. Mr. Frank will focus his practice on advising companies on executive compensation and employee benefits issues, with an emphasis on the compensation and benefits aspects of corporate transactions.
Mr. Frank served as the head of the compensation, benefits and ERISA practice group at his previous firm. Mr. Frank has advised companies on issues related to their equity- and cash-based incentive programs. He has also counseled clients on the design and implementation of nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements, including Section 409A rules and on the proxy disclosure of public company compensation information. Mr. Frank has represented both private and public companies, and his clients have ranged from Fortune 500 companies to emerging growth companies.
