Stream Launches Philanthropic Program: Stream Cares

Direct Selling Company Pledges to Give Together to Change Lives

DALLAS--()--Stream, a leading direct selling company and provider of essential services, announced the launch of its philanthropic program, Stream Cares, recently at its company-wide convention, Ignition 2016. During the convention, Stream Associates and employees worked together to raise close to $3,000 through T-shirt sales and direct donations for Stream Cares to allocate. Stream Cares was established by Stream to strategically support and fund causes, with a special focus on giving back to members of the military and their families.

“We’ve been working on this program behind the scenes for a while now, and Ignition felt like the perfect way to announce it to our Associates and employees. We look forward to giving together in order to change the lives of many,” said Kimberly Girard, Manager of Community Relations and Events, Stream. “We’re an organization with heart, and we plan to consistently identify new and strategic ways to give back – especially ways that tie in with the efforts of our Associates.”

This year Stream Cares will be primarily working with The American Red Cross Services to the Armed Forces (SAF) Giving Program, Operation Once in a Lifetime, and Cell Phones for Soldiers, in addition to other charities.

Over the years, Stream has partnered with many outstanding organizations to support worthy and varied causes through special events and funding, including: Girls, Inc., Texas Tornado Benefit, Hope Supply Co. (formerly Captain Hope’s Kids), and Habitat for Humanity.
