DataRPM Appoints Unikey COO Seth Page as Executive Vice President to Bolster its Corporate and Business Development Leadership in Industrial and Enterprise IoT

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--()--DataRPM™, the award-winning Cognitive Data Science Company whose automated Machine Learning platform proactively delivers Recommendations & Predictions, today announced the appointment of technology and venture veteran Seth Page as Executive Vice President of Corporate and Business Development.

“We are thrilled to have a tech executive of Seth’s caliber to lead our team,” said Sundeep Sanghavi, DataRPM Co-Founder and CEO. “As a long-time founding member of DataRPM’s Advisory Board, Seth has an insider’s understanding of our core DNA, customer value proposition, and full end-to-end technology stack. His deep experience in venture funding, product launching and scaling technology companies in IoT and other leading-edge tech sectors will be indispensable at this critical stage of DataRPM’s growth.”

Page will be responsible for Corporate and Business Development, including fund raising, global Go-to-Market strategy and the continued expansion of key partnerships, alliances and strategic initiatives. Page has been a strong advocate for the potential of IoT, Cognitive Data-Science, Machine Learning, AI, Big Data and Predictive Analytics for the next generation of enterprise innovation and market differentiation.

DataRPM’s recent release of their Cognitive Data Science Platform has been particularly relevant to their early Fortune 100 Industrial IoT customers, who have been collecting hordes of sensor, device and business data. Many are just now trying to figure out how to actually merge and make sense of their big data, and recognize the need to operationalize machine learning automatically into their business flows to provide actionable insights and recommendations.

“With its transformative approach to automating data science and machine learning, DataRPM radically redefines how companies of all sizes can garner real insights and predictions to make informed business decisions quickly,” said Page. “This is ever more important given the global explosion of connected IoT devices and sensors, where the deluge of big data will contribute immensely to the 44 Zettabytes generated worldwide by the end of this decade, with up to 40% of non-video data coming from industrial and consumer IoT alone. Enabling companies to real extract actionable insights quickly from their structured and unstructured data on an automated and operationalized basis is very hard to do, but a fundamentally important business function in today’s technology-enabled organizations. I’ve felt this pain first-hand at other companies and have worked with the DataRPM founders over the past four years, observing their relentless pursuit of automating data science and machine learning for the rest of us. While other folks are just starting to experiment with machine learning and data science, DataRPM is performing machine-learning-on-top-of-machine learning, so-called MLML , and Cognitive Data Science, to deliver unheard of speed, scale and repeatability benchmarks, compressing a year’s worth of data science into mere days with real actionable insights.”

Seth joins DataRPM with more than 20 years of business experience in technology start-ups, venture funding, strategic partnerships, operations and cross-border transactions, as well as a previous technical background in software, hardware, networking and security. As the COO and head of Corporate Development at Unikey Technologies, the leading global IoT access control cloud platform powering industry-leading smart locks, such as Kevo by Kwikset, he successfully led VC and venture debt fundraising efforts, launched new verticals, scaled the business and forged partnerships and integrations with global technology leaders including Samsung, Nest / Google, Apple, Motorola, Honeywell, Airbnb and others.

Previously Page held executive positions at RayV (acquired by Yahoo), PV Media Group, (acquired by Blinkx), AdOn Networks (acquired by PV Media Group), Oyster Optics (acquired by TechQuity), Trade.com (acquired by ABN AMRO), as well as investment banks Corporate Finance Partners and BlueStone Capital Partners, and the State of California’s European Offices of Trade & Investment.
